Conversion

A flow normally represents a physical magnitude, and needs a representation for its value (we will call it raw value, as opposite to physical value, for making it usable by a system (specially for software systems). The conversion between the physical magnitude to raw magnitude is described by a conversion. It is also comonly named as 'transfer function’.
