Creating a chapter¶

To create a chapter, you can select “new chapter” from the sidebar just under the chapter list.

You must specify:

• The wiki page where the chapter is/will be stored.
• A sort number, a float value that helps the book index to know the precedence of this chapter (f.i 2.0 or 3.141592...). The smaller values are shown before.
• The chapter numbering. This is the string to be presented as the chapter number. Can be whatever, so you can name a chapter “1.” “2.a.”, “III”. It is recommended to use numbering systems that allow the user to see the index like a chapter tree.

After the chapter is created, if the wiki topic is already present you should be reading it. If not, you are encouraged to go and write it.
